Frank Miller needs to give up.
I recently read Holy Terror! and it’s one of most incomprehensibly nonsensical comics I’ve had the displeasure of reading. Once again, Miller fears spatial relations and doesn’t want his reader to interpret the physical movements of characters, and sometimes even their distance relative of one another. He also has a hatred of backgrounds for some reason, sometimes replacing them with harsh streaks, but most times leaving the background pure white or black. Then there’s Miller’s dialogue, which as seen above, has long succumbed to self-parody.
